My two favorite 2.0 Imperial pilots to fly together are Soontir Fel and Rexler Brath. With just basic upgrades there’s not much left over. I also want to maintain a 10-15 pt bid.

Who should be their wingman???

Soontir with Predator (54)

Rexler with Juke (88)

Bid at 15 leaves 43-48 points...

Countdown? Duchess? 2 ties? A shuttle or reaper?

Duchess with Predator is REALLY good for the points, and fits well with the style of the squad

I second Duchess. She benefits from the bid so you get more mileage out of said bid. She's more surviveable than she appears unless she gets focused down, in which case you just got yourself a discount Biggs.

My only worry about Duchess is the lack of heavy firepower. All of your ships would be viable endgame, but none of them get you there particularly quickly. Unfortunately, there's not much to fix that in the 45pt range, save for maybe Sabaac or Barrage Jonus, but neither ship derives any particular value from your bid.

Yeah I DO like another PS 5 to benefit from the bid. While I’m dropping Redline and his antics for essentially Rexler and a weaker ship, there’s some potential for half-way-decent-almost-double-modded attacks via pred/juke.

I feel like Sabaac would just go instantly and not even get a decent 4-die attack... Redline is so deadly not b/c he hits with 4 dice but because he’s double modded. I’ll play with duchess a bit... see how it goes.
