Hello friend!
Anyone attending Euros has an idea about the team events / side events? To help packing...
Apparantly they have Pods of 8 as side events, where you can win tickets from the price wall:
First post for me on their Facebook page, in the question section.
thx (I cant read the full fb thing). those pods, full 400 pts solo? or teams, is there anything specified?
Bothans and statistics, here we go again ( disclaimer: i'm not there, but this is what i got):
64 Players, 32 Rebel Fleets, 32 Imperial Fleets
Thrawn: 6
Sloane: 11

Thanks for the stream! Fun to watch while trapped at the airport.
Edit: I know I’ve seen Raddus x2, Riekan and a Sloane list but does anyone have a list of who made the cut?
Edited by cadetvwThe cut is top 8 on the pic a few posts up..
Edited by GilmoreDKTokra won the first round 6-5 today in the cut.
Edited by GilmoreDKCongratulations @Tokra! Win with 23 tournament points. Runner up Piotr Swietlicki 18, third Daniel Unzeitig 18, Premyslav 18, Calum 16, Alessio 15, Thomas 14, Piotr 10
Nerf Germany and Poland!
Edited by GilmoreDKThanks for the stream. I had the time to partially peep in and they were great. I love this community!
Wow, splendid! What much fun! Congratulation to Tokra but also to all players and the great host!
I hope that the complete top 8 lists will be posted later.
But we had (if i remember right) : 2x Raddus, 3x Sloane, 1x Ackbar, 1x Thrawn, 1x Rieekan
Both Raddus Fleets were with Rogue Squadrons (5 and 7 YT2400).
Ackbar was MC80 and CR90 with lot of YT2400 as well.
Thrawn was Demo, ISD, 2x Arquitens, 2x Gozanti, no Squadrons.
Sloane was my Centicore, Squall, Raider with the ace ball. Only change was Rhymer instead of Howlrunner.
The other two Sloanes were with ISD. One with Squall Quasar, the second with Demo.
Rieekan was with MC80 Liberty, 2x CR90, 2x Transport and Hammerhead. With 2 VCX Shara and Tycho as Squadron ball.
Above is a good general description of top 8 fleets. I took 4th with my Raddus, which was exactly the same fleet as one I played last year:
Commander: Admiral Raddus
Assault: Most Wanted
Defense: Planetary Ion Cannon
Navigation: Intel Sweep
CR90 Corvette B (39)
• Admiral Raddus (26)
• Hondo Ohnaka (2)
= 67 Points
MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100)
• Lando Calrissian (4)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• Early Warning System (7)
• External Racks (3)
• Assault Proton Torpedoes (5)
• Profundity (7)
= 130 Points
Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• External Racks (3)
= 43 Points
GR-75 Medium Transports (18)
• Bright Hope (2)
= 20 Points
GR-75 Medium Transports (18)
• Quantum Storm (1)
= 19 Points
Squadrons:
• Jan Ors (19)
• VCX-100 Freighter (15)
• 5 x YT-2400 (80)
= 114 Points
Total Points: 393

(...)
Ackbar was MC80 and CR90 with lot of YT2400 as well.
Here's my full list:
MC80 Assault Cruiser - Defiance
- Admiral Ackbar, Strategic Adviser
- ECM, EWS
- Leading Shots, XI-7
- Engine Techs
CR90B - naked, objective grabber
GR-75 Medium
- Hondo, Comms Net
GR-75 Medium - Quantum Storm
- Slicer Tools
1VCX 2x YT-2400 , Dash Rendar, Ketsu Onyo, Corran Horn,
Objectives:
Advanced Gunnery
Fire Lanes (I forgot to take Capture the VIP, and it cost me 1 game, and ruined any chance of winning another... Fire Lanes is TERRIBLE with just one VCX)
Intel Sweep
Day 1:
3:8 loss to the Black Admiral
and after that 7:4, 10:1, 7:4 and 8:3 wins
Day 2:
4:7 loss to the Black Admiral
1:10 loss to the Firefly (he took Fire Lanes and forced me to try and defend them)
5:6 loss to Alessio (masterfully abused Rieekan and stole two objective tokens, Fire Lanes, and won by 25 points)
I got a full write-up here

Thanks man, sorry for such an abysmal UK showing on back-to-back live streams though!
My list was an updated version of my Regionals/Nationals Sloane 2-Ship (just a mission change): http://armadawarlords.hivelabs.solutions/view_list.php?token=201228
Plenty pics and details from each of my games and more on Twitter at https://twitter.com/i/moments/1166259663903580161 and will be updating my Instagram some time soon.
Getting to play Dennis/@Tokra twice in two days was... an experience! Part of the reason for such an aggressive final game was after seeing how things went in our first game, but that backfired spectacularly. Now you've picked up Euros as well what titles don't you have at this stage? 😂 🏆
Also special shout-outs to the rest of the Scottish gang ( @Dreadnowt with his trademark kilt, @Rumham with the only SSD of the tournament, Calum Brookes (you can steal my forename but you can't steal my spot in the cut!) and @Hambo44 the Madine loyalist), the Stockton Trio (Graeme, Lee, and Nick) as well as Daniel (aka The Black Admiral, check his stuff out on Instagram, loads of Armada content) who after so long of trading challenges back-and-forth we finally got a game!
Thanks to all of my opponents (Philip, Armando, Jeppe, Dennis, Jakub, Piotr, Daniel, then Dennis again) for a bunch of fun, exciting, and challenging games of Armada.
And everyone should check out Krakow if you get a chance. Lovely place!
