Aethersprite, but I'm really hoping the v1 will get a bit of a price drop so I can put the Grand Inquisitor on the table and not immediately regretting I didn't pick Whisper instead. Maybe a reprint would get us a Fifth Brother pilot card as well?

Based on the rereleases we’ve seen so far, don’t expect that to change. Sounds like rereleases will just be bringing extended content from the conversion kit into 2.0 proper (unclear if it will add to hyperspace or how they rotate things OUT of hyperspace).

I wouldn’t hold out much hope for those other pilots.

For me, I think the most interesting announced/shown ship will be the Aethersprite. I don’t know if I’d buy into it or not though. It’s the only thing that has me considering it (if epic conversion kits and overhauled epic rules would be announced my preorder would be instant).

1: neither of the announced rerelease ships so far had more pilots in 1e, so there was little reason to expect they’d have additional pilots. In fact, the X-Wing and Y-Wing both had content that wasn’t technically going to be in the conversion kit, and same for one or two ships in Scum/Empire (thus being packaged separately within). We have plenty of reason to expect some ships to gain a couple pilots, closer to their 1e numbers.

B) I personally expect Hyperspace to mostly just grow, so long as each faction has roughly the same number of ships. Once Republic and Separatists catch up a bit, then they might start rotating stuff out more, but I honestly kindof expect them to just merge mostly back to extended, and then just continue to rotate through thematic formats.

My point is that it’d be dang expensive and either FFG wouldn’t want to sell them that cheap or we wouldn’t want to buy them that expensive.

Honestly, the biggest problem with the current Arc (disregarding how Braylen and Thane got abilities worth a **** before bring sumarily removed and replaced with braylen's 1st Ed ability and Garven's trash) is lack of any good crew/gunner

But Republic gets motherloving Palpatine, so no worries there

couple of new pilots and a repaint would be sweet. might even get me back playing imperials.

The in-game design of the V-19 Torrent is interesting to me. 2-red swarm ship, high hull but low agility, and a trash dial like a B-Wing or G1-A.

B-Wings that don't hit as hard and don't have shields. While I'm looking forward to swarming them a bit, they are getting a tad outshined by Vultures. Plus I'll only own swarm-y amounts so that I have enough Aethersprites to paint a couple 😅

...Goodness there's gonna be a nice market for people who can paint Aethersprites in various Jedi's colors. So many options for those things.

I was expecting the V-19s to have good dials comparable to TIE Fighters, but watching this clip... They really aren't that maneuverable.

They kinda just fly in straight lines, and they don't move around a lot when trying to evade Droid fighters. Just compare the clones evasive action to Ahsoka's. I mean obviously she's jedi but they still would be turning harder and doing more evasive actions if their ships could.

Carnor Jax in anything! Preferably his TIE Interceptor self. Cause "NO".

I'm looking forward to flying against the upcoming releases, but as an OG Rebellion/Empire man I'm more invested in the next round of re-release s.

Same! I'm sticking with Empire/Rebels/First Order/Resistance, but I can't wait to fly against the new stuff! Honestly looking foreward to getting one or two more ships and pretty much being done collecting for awhile.

Yeah, I've dropped the Resistance and never really bought into the FO anyway, but the splitting them from the Rebel/Empire factions has definitely made me more interested in playing against them. I think having their own distinct faction identities will help the game on the long run, even if I personally don't buy in.

I'm interested in seeing how other players get on with the Republic/Separatists as well. With 7 factions available, tournaments play could become a whole lot more varied in 2019.
