Scum 2.0 Suggestions

New to the game, I am really loving X Wing and want to dive in. I am very interested in the Scum Faction. What build would anyone recommend using the new Scum 2.0 ships only without having to buy old ships and conversion kits.

I already bought the Slave 1 and looking for other 2.0 ships to build a squad with. Thoughts?

Boba (Marauder, Han Gunner, PerCo)

Fenn (Predator)

Captain Seevor (Trick Shot)

I'd definitely suggest getting a Lando's Falcon too because there are lots of options in one box right there.

Perceptive Copilot - It's a good fit for Boba as ideally he's going to get in range 1 of enemy ships and re-roll his dice a lot. Double focus will help you maximize your dice.

I flew against Fenn recently, had him at range one and rolled two hits and two crits. He evaded all of it :( (Pilot ability + Concordia Faceoff)

Boba's rerolls, Seevor's jamming ability. In all honesty, everywhere you look in x-wing there are 'annoying' ships and abilities, but @Greebwahn 's list is a solid place to start.

Lando's falcon is well worth it. and an essential part of Scum players toolbox of resources.

u get han gunner for boba. also get L3-37 crew card.

also escape craft which has like 4 diff pilots and most importantly a very cost effective support ship with coordinate.

Fang Fighter esp piloted by Fenn is very powerful but takes some practice to maximise. hes ur typical glass cannon style ship. hits hard and fast but easily destroyed if flown poorly or can easily die to a lucky shot. skilled players can keep him alive and he is a fantastic endgame ship due to initiative 6 and superb speed and agile movement.

all ships (scum falcon, escape shuttle, firespray and fang fighter) are Hyperspace legal ships which means u can play them in both available competitive formats.

probably worth picking up a mining guild tie. great filler ship and the pilot Capt. Seevor is great value for 28pts.
