Is there any range limit to Lintra's ability? I can see a limit of R3 to the attacker but what aboit the defender? If all three ships are in line, from Lintra to the defender would be in excess of R6.

As with all arcs in the game, unless a range is explicitly listed, the defined range for the ability is 1-3. In Lintra's case, the key range is from Lintra, in her bullseye arc, to the enemy attacker . There's no need to measure from Lintra to the defender; any defender rolls an extra defense, if she spends her charge. Even if they're attacking their own ship, somehow.

If you need a "fluffy" (i.e. plot) reason for her ability to work, consider her to be laying down suppressive fire on the enemy, making its attack less effective, regardless of who it's shooting at.

Arcs are 0-3 (i.e. a ship bumped with you is in your arc if it... you know, is) but do not extend back onto the ship base, so your ship is not in its own arc.
