couple rules questions

By Hobbyist, in X-Wing Rules Questions

1. do condition cards stay if the card that caused them is destroyed? i.e. kylo dies, does isytds stick around?

2.Edon kapphel in the starfortress, can he use trajectory simulator on a device dropped by his ability? i'd say no, because TS says 'during the systems phase', but then again the devices also say 'during the systems phase'.

3. can you equip more than one copy of the same upgrade on a ship, say, double crackshot on an A-wing.

  1. The Condition card stays attached to the ship, regardless of whether the assigning ship dies, until the condition card itself says it is removed. For ISYTDS, the card states that it is removed after causing its effect to happen, regardless of whether Kylo Ren is alive or dead.
  2. Edon can't use Trajectory Simulator in that situation, Because TS specifically states "during the system phase." It cannot be used outside of that phase.
  3. As @Hiemfire stated, you can only equip one of any given upgrade to any given ship; while you can include as many Proton Torpedoes in your squad as you can fit, one ship (like a TIE Bomber) can't equip two slots' worth of them.

Compare captain rex's suppressiv3 fire condition to see one that is removed on death.

Caption Rex you mean? The forgotten hero of the Rebellion? 🙃

thanks for the clarifications, guys.

1. i rarely play condition cards

2. i played this correctly, but checked just in case, since the devices themselves also say 'during the systems phase'

3.this one i 'knew', but someone challenged, and i didn't remember where it was
