I’m pretty sure they’ll be released in January which has always been the expected date as far as I’m aware. No idea why the OP thinks January is late.
There was talk of them dropping in December at one point in time, don't remember where or when but I remember seeing it here somewhere.

Likely GenCon. The little paper "info tent" in the display case did list them as Q4 2018 initially.

But if it's financial quarters, then Q4 would include January of 2019
Gencon/spanish site had them as q4 back in october. It is the 25th of January. I was at work and had just a min to make the post.

In the US and some other countries, yes. The Spanish dates have almost always (I think the Snowtroopers were an exception?) been the Friday after the Thursday release.
i just wish they would release the other cards information or other personnel upgrade information now
