So we've made a few Ebay purchases. The sellers are smart cookies -- because they keep raising the prices of the ships people buy! (Free Market!)

Huh. I should have been charging more. Honestly I’ve been happy just trading stuff off. I do have a lot of “medium” still.

ok so at those prices the following ships are great value...

Lambda Shuttle (need one if ur imperial player)

Fang Fighter (Fen Rau is one of scums top pilots!)

HWK-290 (good value be warned the title card only comes in the rebel conversion kit)

Slave 1 firespray (Boba is scums #1 pilot)

Tie-Punisher (you want one,maybe even two of these but expecting Redline to go up in points so probably just one for now)

rest of the stuff there seems to be priced well imo

I'd kill for 2 Starviper upgrades... like literal mafia style murder...

Pay attention to what is being asked and what is actually selling. You can be savvy and watch. You see the x wings and ties priced $10 or so, but you can buy the older starter sets for $15, just buy the starter sets. Other things, you can get lucky with.... I managed to get a imperial raider delivered for $44.

Check out many of the smaller stores as well. You see the starwing priced at outragous high prices on ebay but I managed to buy 2 of them at a local small shop for $1495 or so each. Just a matter of keeping your eyes open.

So VT-49 Decimators aren't sold at all, I'm guessing?

Except this post isn't about buying 1st Ed Ships , it's about buying the 2nd Ed Dials, Cards, and Base-Inserts to use 1st Ed Ships ... unless you thought people were selling VCX-100 Miniatures for less than $4...

Right... anyone who thinks 1st Ed fighters are going for $10 a pop... lol.

When I was selling off all of my factions I was doing it in lots with basically $3-$4 per small ship, and even that took awhile to finally sell.

Now, the 2nd Ed cardboard to play that stuff... yea that's gonna cost you. But the miniatures themselves are in over supply, with so many folks hanging up the game or downsizing their factions or collections.

Interestingly, I have several of the high- and medium-demand ships in my Trade List (e.g., a full TIE Bombers x3 conversion), and there's been very little interest expressed. (I did just trade away most of a mostly-full TIE Fighters conversion.)

Do you just have the list posted here or other places as well? If just on this forum, that we're just a small percentage of the player base might be interfering with your trading them off. Could also be that some are concerned about where the bombers and their tools will land points wise in the next adjustment, so they're waiting for the moment.

You spent nearly three grand on two Gunboats?! And I thought I was desperate to get my favorite ships...

The cardboard from the conversion kits

I ran 3 vipers often in 1.0 and I picked up TIE Interceptor #4&5, but I am not interested in paying $20 for the dials etc.

why would anyone pay the cost of a full conversion for 3 or 4 ships contents? how is that a good value?
