Anyone know of a list of Old Republic territories. Trying to make a map of which planets or systems are still under republic control or sith control. The obvious ones I know, but would love a detailed list for my players that is correct to legends cannon...and yes I know most of that isn't disney cannon yet or possibly ever.

Well there's a billion different wars at any given time in the old republic which sees several planets go through different dominions. The biggest factions seem to be Republic, Jedi, Sith Empire and Mandalorian in terms of successful military campaigns and the shift of territories. There are other factions as well, such as the Hutt cartels and other criminal and non-criminal organizations. You might consider looking into the Star Wars Essential Atlas for some Legends maps of the galaxy at that time including pathways of military campaigns and territories.

Thanks guys. I have the atlas. Forgot all about that. I also have the old republic book but it focuses on 300 years after the Jedi Civil War/Knights of the Old Republic Revan story.

I'm running in 3957 B.B.Y. players are the group that will help Bastilla take Revan out.

Since that time is legend cannon it can be rewritten and Disney won't send me a summons to shut my campaign down. 😎

My group is playing in the old republic as well, KotOR era, but I'm altering the big events that happen in the timeline. Wars will have different lengths and happen at different points but will follow similar beats. As the players are the stars of the show, they have a large ability to affect change in the galaxy. Players have thrown in KotOR things in our game which signaled to me it's okay to bring some of that Legends material in, which I will be doing so.

Ehy kind of things did you or your players bring in? I'm allowing for events to change, but kept all of the big events upto 3957. So the Civil War is going on. Revan and Malak returned from the Mandolorian Wars as sith lords that broke free of the Sith Emperor's control and began their own conquest over the galaxy. The players all in someway were padawans or late teenagers in the Mandolorian War. Now they are fighting Revan's loyalist as 2 Jedi Knights and a Mandolorian turned Republic advisor.

Now the Atlas has helped me a lot. Wondering if anyone knows where I can find how much each side has of military forces? That or do I just make it all up? I have a player who is slowly becoming a political/military leader and wants to have the info

So you're fighting in the Later end of the Revan war Era?

From what little I understand...Revan & Malak had essentially carved out an arm of several key planets. They did not, like the Later true Sith Empire, have control of a large part of the galaxy. Revan instead assumed control of key points in a sort of rapid storm. Both the Republic and Revan EMpire did not have giant forces due to the dramatic drain that the prior Mandalorian war put upon the galaxy and his forces were able to stay on the win because they were supplemented by the star forge and Revan's superior tactics.

Yes about 6 months before Revan falls and loses his memory. 2 of the players are Jedi padawans that lost their masters in the beginning of the cival war. They recently became knights now and just met Bastilla who has chosen them to help with the plans to take down Revan. Another player is a Mandolorian who became a politician and has turned to the Republic. They are all in the process of taking back Corellia and the system around it.
