Inb4 they're quickbuild lists that are actually worth like 230 points and don't fit in the normal game

Any luck? Alex’s list was 198.

0-66 - 65pts

-Kraken 7pts

-Probes 5pts

-Scimitar 8pts

Wat - 35pts

Vulture (i1?) - 20pts

-Discord Missile - 4pts

Vulture (i3?) x2 - 22pts

-Energy Shells - 5pts

Pure speculation, and not math-backed in particular. Just throwing something out there.

O-66 (53)
- DRK-1 (5), Scimitar (6), Kraken (8)

Separatist Drone (23) x2
- Energy Shells (4)

Hoar Chall Prototype (24)
- Discord Missiles (6)

WAT Tambor (42)

= 198?

You guys think Vulture droids are going to be much more expensive than I do. My guess is 16-18 for one of the I1s.

They're essentially a de-shield-upgraded Z-95 (which would be 17) or a de-stealth-deviced TIE/ln (which would be the same, assuming it was an agility 2 ship buying the upgrade rather than an agility 3 one 'selling' it).

A lot will depend on whether the landing gear is free, though; if it is, I can see it being closer to 20 points.

They mentioned on stream that it wasn't free, and that they wanted taking it or not to be a meaningful choice not an auto-include.

Good. But in that case I can see the totally 'clean' vulture being 18 points or less, since it really has next to nothing going for it compared to...well...any other ship out there.

Pfftt... this is a bit crap. I really hate how they don't release the points until the USA release date and of course nothing in their articles. Its so strange as I would had thought they would want us to be theorycrafting what lists we can do with them and working out how many minis to pre-order.

Come-ooooooooon points!

Well, the most likely reason(s) they don't release until street date is:

(1) Playtesting doesn't settle on points until right before the release date deadline
(2) Points have been settled for awhile, but FFGOP/Marketing are just terribly slow about getting them posted online
(3) They want people to be over zealous in their pre-orders and order more ships than can actually fit into a list
(4) They don't want points out in the wild prior to release because they don't want people on Vassal and proxying at home to "solve" which lists are the best or which ships/lists are worthless, as this might allow players to just plan on buying the best lists and skipping the worst lists/ships of the wave

Are their any other reasons that could explain it? Because these are the only sorts of things that come to my mind.

It's this, if it's anything. IMO.

Sadly, it is, in the end, all about money.

But keeping info to the vest does ad a bit of excitement for the unknown in a game such as this. As crazed lunatics in this game (most on this forum above 300 posts) are probably the type that might just pre-order.

I haven't, but the Sith Infiltrator looks interesting. But I'm still trying to make the First Order work, I don't know what's wrong with me. I'll wait them out on this wave. You guys stay on it.

First Order is very good, and continues to win large Hyperspace Events. Quickdraw is arguably the best ship in the game (oh boy, will his points be going up in July), and Kylo is so good he justifies spending double-digit points on Supernatural Reflexes. So, keep the faith and good luck!

I'm holding off on CIS until I know the ponts, and on more than one of each Republic too, despite the Delta being the thing I've been waiting to fly since I've started.

If I knew the points I would probably have done more pre-ordering.

And honestly, I think in the long run not havign the points in advance is bad for the whole distribution chain, because pre-orders are *really* good for FLGS finances.

つ ◕◕ ༽つ SUMMON THE POINTS ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ

I'd at least like to have the points a day or two before the release date (yes I know they said release date). I know there will be a few stores that might do midnight releases and people are going to have their products and not know the points when they have them. That will be the most annoying thing, especially for other countries that will have them at an earlier time of the release day and if FFG doesn't release them until a midday time for their own time zone, it won't be great for others around the globe.

I do at least feel like they've been good about releasing things like this as soon as it's midnight on release day somewhere in the world? But I don't recall any specific examples.

Wave 1 points were out for early release at Gencon. Wave 2 points were out early, and there was an early release of the wave in the UK.

As noted upthread, we have a sample size of two, so we really don't have any particularly reliable evidence for any plan for how things are released.

I haven't gotten the "very good" results, just the "very fun" ones. Backdraft is good, but not the best IMO. I cannot spend that kind of jack on Supernatural on Kylo, there is just too much out there that his I-5 and front arc just cannot overcome. But hey, I'm no expert pilot in either chassis. Lots more practice ahead. Keep me (try) and the community straight @AllWingsStandyingBy!

Hum, I am on the edge of just selling all of my FO stuff. I don't enjoy it anymore and I can't get it to work well with the limited ship selection. Also they don't seem terribly unique and after the faction split it makes it more so.
