I mean, I want to, but also, no way! I don't think we'll get an ARC or Aethersprite for less than 50 points, maybe the cheapest generic(?), but the force on the Jedi Knight will make it expensive no matter what.

I wouldn't say no way.

Ibtisam is only 50 points in his ARC and the standard aethersprite isn't looking that much better then an A-wing (worse statline, worse dial, similar ship ability) so if those mods aren't mandatory, that jedi knight could be around 40 points (the 34 points of a I3 A-Wing + 6 for the force point, compared to the Baron and Inquisitor as an example). Asoka naked might be below 50 and the generic ARCs should be.

It’s 50 points for an i3 ARC with a pilot ability in the Rebel faction.

Take away at least one point for the pilot ability, probably a couple more and let’s say Republic ARCs bottom out at 47 pts for the i2 Generic.

That leaves 59 points for the Aethersprite. I feel comfortable assuming we can fit a Jedi Knight in there, and honestly wouldn’t be shocked if some lower-end named pilots made it through to that points range, at least initially.

EDIT: Let’s start at 34 points for the Jedi Knight, based on the A-Wing generic i3, shall we? Add roughly 6 points for the Force Charge (the difference between TIE/ad v1 pilots who are identical except for a force charge.) and we’re at 40 points. The ship ability is better than an A-Wing’s, but the lack of stress does come at the cost of its lone Force Charge, and Interceptors don’t appear to pay much for the additional option of Barrel Roll. Even if you want to charge 6 points for that bump up in ship ability, you then need to knock off a point for demoting a shield to hull.

So maybe 45 points for the generic. To get above 50 we’d have to assume turning the evade action into a purple action is worth 6 points. Which is certainly plausible, if it’s as powerful as some of the suggestions have claimed. But let’s not forget FFG has been underpricing new releases, not to mention the RZ1 seems likely to get a touch cheaper, considering the cost of its little brother. Which bumps us back down a notch to being less likely to hit 50 points. There will be a few named pilots within 9 points of the generic.

Yeah, I doubt you’ll fit Plo with three regardless, which saddens me, but. Yeah.

An i3 generic swarm with 3 ARCs and the Jedi Knight seems reasonable, though, if lightly upgraded.
