Dodonna's Bombers

Did give this a go with the Independence title but found after round one I wasnt really using it anymore. So dont think that was a good use of points. So I tried this and felt it worked better. I would like to put Keyan's B-wing in but don't have that squad pack yet.

What do you think.

Do you mean Ten Numb? If you own B-wings you own Keyan.

Just realized that comment im using ryan kingstons fleet builder and I only have 5 B-wings and as ive got 5 in the Keyan card has the ! on it because im at my limit not because if that. lol

Do you have access to Ten Nunb? Ten would give you more punch to go through your opponent's fighter screen. Since you don't have intel, the faster you win the squadron game, the better off you are. I would take him before taking Keyan (disclaimer: I've never used Keyan and I think I used B-Wings once)

For the same reason, I'm not a huge fan of Luke being the only escort as he'll get focused. You could keep him back while the B-Wings do the work though.

Keyan combos so well with Norra though. He hits like a truck. You have an odd number of squads though, so you could ditch Rogue and 2 Bs for Ten and Jan. Maybe swap Luke out and try to get some YT-1300s in.

Im a huge fan of B-wings I like the fact that they have 2 anti ship dice. Does Luke not combo well with Dodonna though? Although I see your point about the escort.

Luke combos really well with Dodonna, which is why I would maybe try @The Jabbawookie 's suggestion of Ten + Jan. Or, as I said, just play him accordingly.

Ditto this. I also find that Luke makes Precision Strike also much more potent as an objective. You can get a face down cards in early and then flip them with PS. Or if you get a crit you can pick flippable crits to keep getting points without your opponent getting to use defense tokens. Injured Crew is great for that!

With add Jan and Ten in I removed two b-wings and rouge to get under the squadron cap. With the spare pts put SA on the MC80 to let the enemy capital ships come to me before I activate.

This is all good and well, but this ball can be tied down by a few TIEs, and apart from Ten and Luke, nobody is good at getting rid of them.

The local meta here doesn't seem to fight heavy here so im hoping that it wont be too much of an issue.
