Hi all, I recently purchased the base game and a couple of hero and monsters expansions to bulk it up. I'm starting my first game soon as the overlord but have to admit I don't understand how the rumour cards and advanced quests work I.E how do you incorporate rumour cards in your game. I am thinking just to allow the extra quests as options but wanted to know how it actually should work.

I'm sure when someone points out the rules this will seem obvious and I will slap myself in the face.

Download the rulebook for the Trollfens expansion or Lair of the Wyrm. There will be a section in those books explaining Rumors as they come with other Rumor cards. The Hero & Monster packs just provide an additional rumor card (and paired advanced quest) each.

Thanks for that, I was thinking I was stupid for not being able to find the rule. Not actually having the rule would be the reason 😂
