Limited upgrades in quick build tournament?

By TychoCelchu505, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Can 2 ships in a quick build list contain multiple copies of a limited card, say "Lone Wolf" on two different ships?

This was the only relevant rule I could find across FFG's 40 odd rules documents.

LIMITED
Some ship cards and upgrade cards have limitations. These limited cards are identified by a number of bullets (•) to the left of their names. During squad building, a player cannot field more copies of cards that share that name than the number of bullets in front of the name.

So it seems the answer is no, you cannot include multiple quick build cards that have limited upgrades with the same name. Which makes sense since otherwise you could include multiple Luke Skywalker quick builds in a list, etc.

After looking again, only the pilots have the limited (dot), not the upgrades; on the pdf or the physical cards.

The dot is right there on the left of the upgrade name. When you play with the quickbuild cards, you pull out the corresponding cards to play with.

You do, but you obey the Quick Build listbuilding rules.

(though, they're not 100% explicit that they ignore the Limited symbols on upgrade cards. Or any % explicit at all tbh, it's kinda bad)
