Scum Hyperspace list with Seevor

By ztiesman, in X-Wing Squad Lists

I plan on taking Seevor to a hyperspace tournament. Since I love the scum falcon and Boba, I thought I would give this a try:

Firespray -class Patrol Craft - •Boba Fett - 97
•Boba Fett - Notorious Bounty Hunter (80)
Perceptive Copilot (10)
Marauder (3)
•Han Solo (4)

Modified TIE/ln Fighter - •Captain Seevor - 28
•Captain Seevor - Noisy Nuisance (28)

Customized YT-1300 Light Freighter - •Lando Calrissian - 60
•Lando Calrissian - Smooth-talking Gambler (49)
Trick Shot (1)
•L3–37 (4)
•Lando’s Millennium Falcon (6)

Escape Craft - •Autopilot Drone - 12
•Autopilot Drone - Set to Blow (12)

Total: 197/200

I also though about maybe swapping Boba and Lando out for Fenn and Han:

Escape Craft - •Lando Calrissian - 26
•Lando Calrissian - Smooth-talking Gambler (26)

Fang Fighter - •Fenn Rau - 68
•Fenn Rau - Skull Leader (68)

Customized YT-1300 Light Freighter - •Han Solo - 75
•Han Solo - The Corellian Kid (54)
Trick Shot (1)
Perceptive Copilot (10)
•L3–37 (4)
•Lando’s Millennium Falcon (6)

Modified TIE/ln Fighter - •Captain Seevor - 28
•Captain Seevor - Noisy Nuisance (28)

Total: 197/200

So, Seevor firing last is pretty lame because you're Jamming somebody who may already have spent their tokens, and before anybody else can capitalise on the token strip.

I'd take Swarm Tactics and try to pull Seevor up to I5 in combat.

Yup, Seevor shines firing first, so you either bump him up to I5 or 6 with swarm tactics, or lower the enemy to I0 via torkil. As you’re looking for a Hyperspace legal list, I’d go with han.

In fact, A couple weeks ago I played a Hyperspace tournament and took Han/Fenn/Seevor/Autopilot drone and did quite well going 2-1, even though I suck at flying Han. Most of Han’s attacks were with only 2 dice, but that’s something to work upon. Fenn just annihilates tokenless enemies, and that’s just what I did. Fire first with Han or I6 Seevor (han had hotshot copilot to take away focuses), and crush enemies with fenn. I even had the autopilot bump for 2 turns and dock while having one last charge, and undock in a critical turn to catch fleeing enemies who were running away on 1 hull.

Nice, did you put swarm tactics on Fenn? Was it hard to keep Seevor and Fenn range 1 of each other?

I've wondered if something like this will work well

Fang Fighter - •Old Teroch - 59
•Old Teroch - Mandalorian Mentor (56)
Fearless (3)

Firespray -class Patrol Craft - •Boba Fett - 90
•Boba Fett - Notorious Bounty Hunter (80)
Elusive (3)
•Qi’ra (2)
Slave I (5)

Escape Craft - •L3-37 - 24
•L3-37 - Droid Revolutionary (22)
Tactical Officer (2)

Modified TIE/ln Fighter - Mining Guild Sentry - 24
Mining Guild Sentry - (24)

Total: 197/200

I know the Marauder/Han combo is great, but I love the flexibility here and it's less likely to go up in points this month I feel.

I've been thinking about something like this in Scum, but with no bid it would mean I'd need to really fly the **** out of my TIEs.

Double TIE Hyper Scum

(80) Boba Fett
(3) Marauder
(4) Han Solo
Points 87

(56) Old Teroch
Points 56

(25) Mining Guild Surveyor
(3) Intimidation
Points 28

(25) Mining Guild Surveyor
(3) Intimidation
Points 28

Total points: 199

Nope, Fenn had fearless. Fenn needs to fly free. I put it on Han. It wasn’t easy staying at R1, but if you get the first engagement right, you’ll be able to put a lot of hurt, and prevent (a little) the alpha strike.
