Is the Rebel HWK-290 getting played much in your area?

Palob is everywhere, Torkil Mux is showing up some. What about the rebel pilots for the HWK-290? I am not seeing it much at all.

Roark/Dash seems pretty good but im not seeing it played much tbh.

Are rebel hawks seeing much play in you area? If yes, then what squads are you seeing?

I don't see Rebels in general get played much around here.

Roark Dash of course, and any JanWedge combo.

Jan with Chopper or Lothal Rebel is a common occurrence round these parts

I see some. As often as not it’s by me.

Jan is a fantastic ship, in the right lists. I have a four ship rebel salad that is very effective. JAN, Wedge, Cassian, AP-5. Support ship heavy, but the list doesn’t fall apart if you kill any one of them. 4 ship synergy that still works with losing pieces.

My main play has been with Jan. Her backing the two named B-Wings has been pretty fun. She’s definitely my favorite of the four Rebel HWK options.

Haven't really seen it; I do have a Kyle list I've been wanting to try that's a version of my 1.0 Garven Focus Factory.

So Cal here (Orange County). When I've seen a Rebel HWK, it's Jan, or Roark (paired with that horrible Dash build). And we're getting as much Torkil as Palob too. Maybe 1 list in 6 has a HWK and a quarter of that is a Rebel one.

It's a great ship. I seem to include in in most of my Rebel builds.

Seeing Jan Ors quite a bit, and of course there's Roark in Double-Tap Dat Dash. (Yes, I gave it a better name.)

Jan with Lothal Rebel is a list I've been enjoying lately. 5/6 dice attacks really want double mods though so you gotta bring coordinate support.

I haven't seen many others played the couple of times I've gone down to the local, but I've run Jan there a couple of times.

I had a more casual game running Kyle alongside ProTorp Wedge and I really enjoyed it. It's very effective at giving Wedge mods, and Kyle doesn't really have any trouble keeping up with him now that the HWKs been improved so much.

And he might be low Init, but that three primary and focus stack is still a threat to be reckoned with.

I got a bit lucky, obviously, but one shotting Grand Inqy with a range 1 primary was super satisfying.

This is my problem. In v1 I absolutely loved the HWK. However, with the release of v2, I've been slowly playing my way through everything and I honestly just haven't made it back to the HWK yet. It's still on my "Need to Fly!" list, but I just haven't made it to it. I've been having too much fun with my Scum ships (also not including the HWK).

How do you have the list set up? If you have the space Jan can pack Squad Leader + Tac Officer. Her Action Bar as the Lock and Focus actions so she can coordinate those without stress keeping her ability open.

Rebel hwks are great

Rebels overall, not so much 😛

I hold the crow as one of like four rebel ships consistently worth playing. Jan, as an I 5 with moldy crow title, is almost great by default even without her ability

Maybe not in terms of power, but Rebels sure have some fun ships to fly! Daredevil A-Wings are a blast!

Yep, that's how the list works.

Jan w/ Crow, Squad Leader, Tactical Officer
Lothal Rebel w/ Ghost, Hull upgrade
AP-5 w/ R4 astromech
Zeb Orellios (attack shuttle) w/ Phantom title

Jan banks a focus on round 1, then on round 2 AP5 coordinates a focus to the ghost, the ghost reinforces, and then Jan coordinates a lock to the Ghost at I5, so Jan and Zeb are throwing 3 dice focused and Lothal Rebel is throwing 5+ dice with focus lock and mitigating incoming damage, +2 unmodified reds from AP5. Then the ghost has the option of sucking up Zeb to have the rear arc turned on in the scrum, then zeb pops out the back and the ghost k-turns and still has a focus from AP5.

I saw the Rebel Hawk used a lot when 2.0 started, but I've been seeing it less and less (along with Astromechs on X-Wings... well, mostly the regen ones)

Fenn is my favourite pilot, so I run a lot of lists with him in it. I am playing around with this list at my local store and I like it. Adv Sensor 4-LOM does his blocking job so good.
