List critique

Hey! Interesting lists you have there :) Quite unexpected for the rebel in particular. I would like to ask what are your fleet intentions for the lists? For Ackbar, do you plan to fly around the opponent while the ships heal each other? To that end, Cr90s don't really have enough health to withstand a beating before they can heal up, they are known to pop easily in current 400 points where someone could bring big guns or bomber lists(you have no fighter screen). Also the B version does not benefit as much from Ackbar as it can't touch opponents at long range, and cr90s get eaten quicker when they close in, so have to be prepared to lose them if closing in to use your guns. I like the idea you have about having multiple Projection Experts healers around to heal each other, but they are wasted points without damage to heal. Maybe fit in an Hmc80/mc75 both to deal and soak damage? These also sync well with Ackbar. Then your PE90s/STMpelta can get lots of healing done. You can transfer shields to the Aspiration from the beginning of the game, so you might like to try that.

I agree CR90s don't have the hull to survive long enough to be repaired. Have your thought about doing a similar theme with bigger ships such as AFIIBs with maybe a MC80 PE ship. Ackbar should concentrate on killing enemies before they can generate enough damage to degrade your ships. CR90A with TRC make excellent Ackbar harassers able to stay at long range and chip in 3-4 red dice with an auto double hit included. Staying at long range means the evades are better and enemy blue dice are ignored and this will be better than repairing each turn. Feel free to include a single CR90A with TRC, Jiana's Light and PE if you wish to lend shields to whoever is being shot the most whilst hiding at range preferably obscured behind other ships.

My recent game with a very close variant to this list only lost 1 CRV. I destroyed his rebel Nebulon B and another CRV. Yes I did get hit with fighters but not enough. The "Jaina's light" title card was picking up objective points on the map.

I threw it together. Hoping to outmaneuver the enemy fleet and out running the fighters. Ackbar did come in handy for the frigate kill. More than I thought he would. I enjoy swarms in the tabletop games. People also don't expect it.

To be honest the previous game I had my fighters were not very effective. I only won my first real game because the guy flew his Star Destroyer off the board. My remaining fighters took out the platform. Almost destroyed a Victory but he flew out of range. My rogue X-wing and A-wing were the only ships in range. Just couldn't get the last blow in.

Replace the redundant shields with squadrons and just have them screen for you. Remember for a defensive retrofit to be of value in needs to either make you last one more round or survive the round you're in. Are you convinced redundant shields on a CR90 will do that? It's an interesting idea and it's an overlooked slot on the cr90 but I think you'd be better served with ECMs or EWSs.
