I don’t think I’ll be complaining too much about whatever adjustments they make as long as the point costs auto update on my saved lists and I don’t have to recreate them.

So much this. Ultimately, for a business, there is value in knowing that your customers don't like X. Even if you disagree with their reasons, even if you think/know they are wrong, ultimately you should be aware which of your decisions are well received and which aren't.

Personally, that's something I learned pretty late in my life: perception matters, even and sometimes especially if it is based on false reasons.
Where we* may have a different opinion is on how FFG should treat that information. I think it should lead them to more open communication and transparency, to more active feedback acquisition (I kept bringing up the DnD 5e forms some time ago. An example from last November, but now timed out). But it should not necessarily make them adjust their product. Some few here have great ideas. Most have horrible ideas, me included.
Lack of understanding should lead them to foster understanding, not to surrender.
