Warlords of the K'Narr Sector - rules and IC conversation
No battles or anything?
It seems not. I was just double checking. It seems the turn 7 truce did happen.
Unless I have missed something, turn 8 is live.
Additional note: m’Karramaarada is still under Wookie Blockade.

Come and get it, Imperium curs!
@LTD to receive ships, do both parties need to have a fleet in orbit? Or can they simply fly to a customer world, the new crew gets shuttled up, the sellers grab a drink and get shuttled back home?
@Matt3412 How quickly could you produce an MC80 Assault cruiser? Are there other ships of comparable size that would finish sooner?
Edited by The JabbawookieIt never occurred to me that people would sell ships, so I have no rules for that. But I arbitrarily say no - both sides must have a ship present. Because - reasons. Canonical reasons.

It's Amazing how much players will jack up a game if they can.
@The Jabbawookie Jabbawookie, what do you think the Federation is up too while we Duke it out?

Either they’re peaceful through and through, or they’re going to utterly annihilate the “winner” of the war. I’m leaning towards the first, but they’ll have a significant fleet being built regardless, because you don’t just donate your credits to charity or gamble them away in this game.

What about O and G? Are they still under blockade by Wookie and Imperia forces respectively?

...The Jawas have entered there celebration cycle, there might be delays in response for 2 cycles time...
...We will start work on the Mc80 AC and follow up with, ETA as soon as possible...
***
...post delivery of your current order it will be 5 turns later...
...due to the commitment we are pursuing we request a 1.4C =1P [IC] exchange...
...Total due 159...
...We continue to value you as an important trade partner, and look admirably upon your people...

Although I am perfectly willing to pay a 1.4:1 exchange rate, the timeline gives me pause. Would an LMC80 Star Cruiser or one of the MC75 variants require 1 fewer production cycle? Or even 2 MC30S?
Does the nonaggression pact that comes with each order extend to the entire Federation, or end at the Jawas? Though I do not seek membership, I have an interest in establishing a more long-standing peace agreement, as I am confident we can be mutually prosperous indefinitely...

As the Jawas are the ones undertaking the contracts and who get the sole benefit from it, the nonaggression pact only applies to them. However, the GNIPians are more than willing to extend a nonagression pact to the Wookies and bind the Federation as a whole to the peace agreements of the Jawas.

The Wookiees are most interested in this agreement, and would be willing to accept it.

The GNIPians wonder if offering an MC80AC at the price of 190 in one turn's time in Cerullian deepspace would affect the Wookies' inclination towards acceptance.
The price is high, but then that is countered by the timing. Negotiations are possible.

It would be a pleasure to do business with you. Payment may take an extra turn (perhaps not, though,) but we can offer half in advance. We shall expect you on turn 9, then?
@Matt3412 I am truly sorry to cancel our current order, but rest assured the Wookiee Nation plans to revisit the notion of large scale production with you.
Edited by The Jabbawookie...we Respect our Federation partners inclination to take over the contract at a faster and more profitable scale...
...This strengthens our Federation immensely and to continue to trade within the sector is our purpose...

By advance, do you mean now? We can send the MC80 this turn to deep space Cerullia upon reception of the upfront payment, and can hand it over the following turn. Any breach of contract, including not paying the remaining 80 credits, would count as a breach of contract for both members of the Federation (lest you think the punishment won't be severe).

I can assure you, no breach of contract will occur. This works wonderfully.
Transfer 100 credits to @GhostofNobodyInParticular . [Turns to aide] "Give them the fancy containers."
Be advised an Imperium Raider was sighted two turns ago in the neighboring system, but is believed by WNI to have since moved to deep space in the Gestalt system, out of jump range. They would have to be feeling particularly foolish to intervene here anyway...

We will leave security up to you, though a raider is hardly a threat to an mc80. We have dispatched the mc80 to deep space Cerullia, coordinates 333.012.128.

Shall we meet you there at the beginning of turn 9, or do you plan to jump to Cerullia? It would be awkward for our ships to simply swap locations.
@Matt3412 would it be acceptable to use these coordinates as the drop off point for our current contract?

Yes, meet us there.
The famous artist DJ Stomp has drawn backlash for the controversial cover art of his new album "Taking Arms and Names," but claims to stand by the decision. With the blockade over Gestalt broken, repairs to Polaris Orbital Spaceport have begun. According to officials, the damage is "not extensive," and the station should be operating at full capacity within the month. The WNHD has issued a widespread recall of Kashyyk frim after 3 cases of severe food poisoning due to contamination; additional cases are being investigated. And a sunny outlook today in the Cerullia sector as a major shipbuilding contract has apparently been negotiated with the Jawa-GNIPian Federation. A spokeswookiee for the ONL expressed hope that the deal would boost employment rates on the ocean world, in addition to calming the unrest on Descapo and Eithos due to briefly unguarded skies. Up next: a private shipbuilding contractor on Cerullia tells us what this new deal means for him. This is WNN, and I'm your host Logarra.

Now don't y'all go forgetting to hold fire. Cerullia's minister has decided if he can't bring you to the floating cantinas he'll bring the cantina to you, and it would be a shame for his liquor selection to be scattered across space.
