Worked Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. That is what happens when you have a job that has some impact. Life has no day off and neither do you.

It is a cramp on my X-wing play time though.

Also, special shout out to all my fellow food service industry friends who's job it is to cook the food, set the tables, pour the drinks, and clean the bathrooms, well past the time when every one else has gone home and the party has ended.

And special shout out to all my Aircraft Mechanic peers who work diligently and steadily through peak travel season to make sure the planes only touch the ground when they're supposed to, so that families can be together. Here's to hoping I join y'alls ranks this year. (Woot woot, just got my full A+P! Career change here we come!)
