So @The Jabbawookie what is the point of Night Maker? I am trying to understand why town would want two rounds of night actions. Seems like it would benefit scum more than town.

Also does scum have daychat or only nightchat?

Nightchat only. The Night Maker doesn’t synergize terribly well with the listed roles (except potentially the Dominating Presence,) but potentially enables extra scans, vig kills based on the previous night action report; basically any positive night action is the reasoning (or occasionally trying to prevent a mislynch/fish for a lucky 3rd party kill.) It’s definitely not a role that should be used over the course of every game though, it’s instead very situational.

Edit: It also affects the Mist Maker and Mist Wraith. I knew there was a better reason for it to exist.

Also, Cops can scan the dead. Doing so effectively would likely require some coordination though.
