As you pass the first of the barrows lining the base of the mountain, a specter appears before you. It seems to be trying to warn you of something, but it's hard to tell as it has no jaw anymore. In panic, one of your more junior sisters stumbles backwards down a slope and bashes her head on some rocks; the wound is clearly lethal. As you offer comfort, you decide to sacrifice her to summon the spirit in a clearer form. Unfortunately, the last of her life force drains away before the ritual is complete, and it fails. Three poor omens in a row...

When you wake that morning, your medicine woman is absent. She'd seemed withdrawn from the start, but breakfast is important. You find her still in her tent, dead. Judging by the blue crust around her lips, someone used a massive dose of her strongest sedative against her. A tiny cut nicks her forearm...

Among her things you find a tiny doll of EbonHawk, wearing a faithfully angry expression. You carefully remove a lock of Ebon's hair from the heart of the doll, then decide to keep it for a practical joke; she's out hunting right now. It looks like your witch doctor had some sinister machinations. But who killed her?

@Lord Preyer has been killed. She was a witch doctor (arsonist) and fireproof. Day 2 begins, and will end in 48 hours.
