So this post is just to keep track of the ships and what their legality is in the different formats and what has a 2nd edition release. I am just using this as contrast to keep track of ships and which pilots to allow in a custom format.

So for the ships that do not have a 2nd edition release I am thinking about including just 1 pilot (unique or non unique) from the conversion kits. For the 1st Order and Resistance I'll probably include a lot more.

So I guess in a competitive format with all 2nd edition stuff legal what pilot do you think should be allowed or not allowed (i.e. Esege Tuketu. because he is the worst pilot in K-wings a ship that is too good and Miranda Doni just makes it a monster).

Correction here as if now: Unfortunately FFG decided to only have part of the pilots available, namely Saw Renegades: Saw, Magva, Benthic, Renegade.

is second edition still a thing? pretty sure that format just got replaced by Hyperspace

Second Edition is, if I recall correctly, everything currently released as an expansion/core set in 2.0, while Hyperspace is a curated list of usable ships & upgrades. Right now both are very similar but they are still different formats.

If the official app is any indicator, Hyperspace replaced Second Edition. Second Edition is no longer a game mode option there.

It is mostly just to track which ships have a 2.0 expansion and which ones don't. A rough sketch of what I am thinking for a format is for each ship

• 1 Unique pilot & 1 non-unique pilot
• 1 Pilot (unique or non-unique)* if the ship isn't already in another faction .
