I'm working on an Ackbar list, and am looking for ways to improve it, and feed back is greatly appreciated.

I have the core set, and the following expansions: CR90, Assault Frigate, Homeone, MC30, Rebel transports, Neb-B, Victory, and Imperial Light cruiser. And two TRCs.

So with that I came up with the following fleet. I like the idea of a small bid, but I have been toying with the idea of using those 6 points and remove an upgrade from the MC80 (Probably the XI7s) to upgrade the MC30 to an assault frigate with ECMs for some more durability.

I would definitely drop the Squid for an AFMK2. You don't have the points for basic necessities like Admo, Gunnery Team/OEs, and an ordnance upgrade (even with long range use being the intent, External Racks is worth the points.) By ditching Bright Hope (fine) and Jaina's Light (ouch) you can fit Gunnery Team as well as ECMs on the AF. XI7s could go to make room for DTT as well.

Thank you for the advice. Question on the DTT, I'm assuming that is Dual Turbo Laser turrets?

Looks like if I drop the XI7 I can upgrade the MC30 to a Assault Frigate Mark 2B with Gunnery teams and ECM.
