Hopes for 2019 in X-Wing: That the Seps are as fun to play as I think they will be and that the Pubbies won't be broken as ****...

My hope for X-Wing in 2019 is that I get to more consistent opportunities to play it!

My hope for 2019 is That FFG can stay true to their word and keep the old factions competitive with the new ones. (I have confidence in them. This isn’t a gripe post).

Also that I can play more often... but clone wars should be dropping for legion this year so... we will see.

That we keep getting more Clone Wars ships. That somehow General Grievous will be good and not pilot skill killed for his ability from the get go. And lastly for more new factions down the road. Mandalorian, Yuuzhan Vong and the Old Republic/Sith.

I'd like to see more specific release dates than quarters. Games Workshop and Wizards of Coast can tell us the exact day, sure FFG could give us the month, at least?

I’d like to see the old factions keep up in ability and not be scope creeped out.

I’d also like to see some epic conversion kits.

I’m not expecting either though.

Lastly, I’d just like more opportunities to get some games in with the ships I have.

For 2019? X-Wing wishes? Hmm.... For myself, I wish better dice-luck! For my opponents, I wish for the points rebalancing to come quickly and equitably! Ha ha.

I'm asking ffg new-years santa for some Content Packs for any new cards/tokens/obstacles per-wave, so we don't fall back into "gotta buy this new ship, or you're outta luck" 1.0 mess.

Also, after wave 3, I'd love to see 7-expansions per wave, so we get at least one ship per faction every new wave (Squadron packs could expand that further)...

Or if not...at least a wave sooner than every three months.

We are already back to that 1.0 mess. Resistance conversion came with zero force cards, meaning you’ll need to buy wave 3 content or FO conversion to access some of them (not counting the dark side only one).

Scum Falcon is only way to get agile gunner currently.

Lets not forget how scum can’t get Moldy Crow without the rebel conversion.

It is a little better than it was in 1.0, but the mess is still very much there.

I'd like Imperials and Rebels to get one or two more ships permitted in hyperspace. I mean no Lambda or interceptor? No A-wing? No B-wing?

Give me at least one more FFG, for fun's sake.

I’d like to add to my wish list a reprint of the colored bases including medium size, or just medium base colorized we can add to old ones. Whichever works

Happy last Friday @Cubanboy even though I don't play epic I really want an epic sized Hammerhead corvette! Also some new units for Resistance and First Order factions, although that might have to wait for after Episode IX.

I hope FFG commits to making every single ship or pilot bad in 2-3 significant ways. Thatd make for an awesome and reasonably balanced 2019.

Ludoligical theory wasn't as well developed as well back then. Everything had to be a board, and then again maneuver templates might have been more expensive to mass produce. Then there is also the plastic models and the duopoly that Parker Brothers and Milton Bradley had over the industry. With the exception of Chess and Poker, games were just kids stuff back then. It is nice to see we have moved far away from that attitude.
