An interesting video, and it shows that there are more than enough CIS and Republic ships for Armada factions.

Although the Victory and Maelstrom-class Battle Cruisers aren't canon, and while the Praetor- and Mandator-class are canon (in that they exist in universe) we don't know who used them, when, what they looked like, what they did or how big they are.

So that gives us 1 small, 1 medium and 1 large ship for the Republic, maybe 5 designs for the CIS, but with inconsistent scales.

Actually, if you refer to its Wookieepedia page you will find the following:

“Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel establishes that Sentinel Base was first utilized by the Galactic Republic. Since Tarkin previously established that this base was originally deployed from a Victory-class Star Destroyer, the Victory-class must therefore have been used by the Republic Navy. ”

Republic: Small Republic Frigates, Arquitens, Peltas. Medium Acclamator. Large Venator.

CIS: Small Hardcells, Tridents, Gozantis. Medium Munificents. Large Providences, Recusants, Supply Ships. Huge Trade Federation battleship.

I think the Victory would be weird given its distinctly Imperial aesthetic, but I wouldn’t object to the Secutor-class or CR20s.

I wish they made Victory canon at Solo, either hanging around the orbit in Corellia or at Kessel, overall I wish they had more space action.
