I have now 4 very close losses and am full on tilted. God damnit.

This week we're going to extend the "week" out to 14 days due to the hollidays. This should allow you to work within your schedule while still being able to plan games out.

Analysis: The short version of this analysis is Travis has 3 ships that will move after Boba Fett and 1 that will move after Fenn Rau. Mind you that Boba is still going to be a pain in the *** to deal with but that starting point is pretty brutal. Also Daredevil Nien looks to be more fun than a barrel full of Gundarks.

Analysis: So Boba and Fenn theorecically should feast in this match. Both can deal with Swarms well. I will say that Duncan has some block plays and will generally get an idea on Bunn's approach. If he can square his whole list at something. It's gonna die.

Analysis: Alright So Will Wedge meme's his way into Chris's own Flappy meme list. I have no idea on this. Chris is going to have board knowledge but it means a bit less without boost. Will can get behind the shuttles but I'm not sure that'll matter. In the end I think Will's list is more survivable early and that ought to pay off.

Analysis: Yes I'm aware Duncan is flying this. Awings. Shut up. This is going to be a fun game. I have a shot as I hit harder and have lots of block options. That being Poe or L'ulo can win this all by themselves. I get the feeling this will be my 5th close loss in a row.

Analysis: This is going to be a fun game to watch. If Marcel gets player 1 that'll go a long way to Paul getting Han out of arcs. In the meantime I think Paul has the tools to arc dodge and win but if anything Marcel's list is *more* toolboxy.

Analysis: Farmer ******* feeling himself with the HLC. Alex is going to have board knowledge on Poe though. I think Alex has a fun list that will mess with Farmer, specifically the Seevor is going to have a field day. I think Farmer has some fun tools but I am not sure he can bring it fast enough.

Man, I wish I could look at some logs here at work. Some of these are enjoyable to watch, even though the action can be difficult o follow. (Players mostly are using voice comms.)

I wish there were a web-viewer for *.vlogs!

Jeff, If I were more organized I'd try to get the voice comms recorded. Overall the use has increased and I'll say as a player it's made the games quite a bit more enjoyable.

I do wish there was a way to get a web based vlog viewer.

Oh, no doubt. A few of us have been using voice-comms on VASSAL since way back in the days of Rekkon's Galactic Civil War Campaign, if you remember that. I'm certainly not begrudging the use. Makes things so much better for the players.

One possible (partial) help would be to find a way to indicate, on-screen, the attacker and the defender. Just a button, followed by click-and-click? Something like that.

That's a great idea although I'm not 100% sure how to implement it.

Slightly off topic. I want to convert those rules to 2nd edition.

Install VASSAL, then download and run the *.vlog files. PageDown steps through, and you can hold the key to "fast forward."

that's pretty easy actually

all you need to do is port the whole vassal engine into html, dealing with graphics with html canvas and make sure you can interpret the encapsulated vassal command objects that i barely know how to harness despite using them heavily over the past 2 years
