Fairly new gamer here. Quick question for the community. Does anyone know, or has heard, if there is going to be a way to buy replacement cards? I generally take good care of my stuff, but once already during a recent game, a drink almost got spilled all over where we set up the character/unit cards. Hehe I now have a rule for no food or drink near the game table, the whole "almost incident" got me thinking.

Alt art cards from OP kits is the best answer right now. A lot of those floating around for the earlier stuff. I almost never get all my cards out when I play anyway. If I have 3 units of stormtroopers with an extra figure and DLT, I just get one set of cards out for all three units. Same with Strike teams, Snow Troopers, turrets, etc.

I’d advise sleeving your cards to help protect them. I haven’t seen an ffg parts request for cards so not sure if they’d send one under warranty or not.

Its not impossible that you could get replacements for damaged cards by contacting support, I guess it depends on how many cards you are looking for and the circumstances surrounding how they got damaged, but in general FFG support have been highly appreciated for their aid and help regarding lost and broken components.

But a better and more safe alternative is to sleeve your cards and follow a strict and ruthless "NO DRINKS AT TABLE" routine. I refuse to put my boardgame or on a table that will be full of coffee cups and soda glasses, the same goes for the FFG miniature games due to being so component heavy on cards and tokens.

I am literally always selling replacement card sets online. I am a core set painting addict. I buy the core set for the models and sell the rest. I just can't stop. Surely there are others like me if you poke around.

Or print out replacement cards on paper and save the real onea for tournaments. Replacement cards aren't readily available.

It was a close one, luckily the lid was on the drink. I like the sleeve option. Thanks guys.

Unless you double sleeve, a decent spill will destroy your cards. Regular sleeve will help prevent Cheetos fingers and some bending, scuffing etc

In Spain, almost each expansion has been provided with two set of cards: The Spanish version and the Portuguese version, so we don't have that problem 😏

I would find more useful the replacement for order tokens. I'm always losing them...

But... would affect the business if we could buy as many copies of everything (tokens... cards...) as we want to? For me it would be great!!
