I've had a couple of games with this squad and it's immediately seemed legit. I ran rings around Wedge/Luke/Thane and then Kylo/QD/Midnight, cleaning both squads off the table without losing a ship. The new A-Wings are incredible.

That's the basic version and then you have to decide how much you want to bid, and how to spend the excess points. The version that I played and won with spent 6 of those points on Intimidation for the two Green Squadron Experts, that proved very good but a 199 bid is maybe too light. The version I'll try next will be to spend 4 points on upgrading Bastian to Jessika Pava - his ability was good but Jess' is better, and it avoids the awkwardness I had from Bastian being a lower Initiative than the A-Wings in front of him.

There's a real element of 'season to taste' here. The things I've ruled out, though, are Crack Shot and Predator as you spend too much time using your rear arc or flying evasively to worry about lining up bullseyes. There's probably a decent argument for just leaving it at 193 and taking the bid!

This is the exact "type" of list that I hope X-Wing evolves towards.

Personally, I would use the 7 points to throw m9-g8 on Bastian, offense and annoying defense.

Then again, I'm the kind of person who dosen't fly ships that require a big bird, so I'm partial to squeezing every point I can into upgrades.

Maybe upgrade a Green to Zari for a point?

She has the same initiative, but her pilot ability seems quite useful...

Definitely an option, especially if you're running at 193 and don't mind going to 194.

I have played L'ulo with Trick shot, so some times getting 4 red die, for minimul investment.
I agree that Jess seems a better choice than Bastion.

Would definately put Heroic on the T-70, as it seems it would benefit more from it than the A wings.

Played something similar to this today, played with 4* GSE, with Crack and trick shot, and Jessika Pava, with s foils and Advanced optics, I stole the list to try from the Scum and Villainy aces league, where there were two of these lists, altho, I swapped out Heroic on the A wings for trick shot.

Was an absoloute blast to play, had a lot of fun, and won by 2 pts, in avery close game.

Totally agree about Jess, although Heroic is bonkers on generic Red Experts.

I'd run it without a bid. Rare exception, but I don't think you'll be losing that much for Lulo or Tallie, since you're not flying this thing to arc-dodge as much.
