Resolving an opponents die considered removing?

By Gokuja04, in Star Wars: Destiny

I am asking for the purpose of Vader. He can roll a character die back in that was removed. But if you play a card that says resolve an opponents die as if it were your own can Vader still roll it back in?

I asked someone local thats pretty knowledgeable and he thought that it would be the same as removing. But to me thats like saying rerolling a die is the same as turning a die.

I just wanted to see what everyone here thinks

No because you have a card that said to resolve to opponent's Vader's die is not the same as removing a die. Remove and resolve are completely different situation. You can't use Vader's power action by resolve die. Same thing with Doubt card, either resolve it or remove it, if resolve, can't do anything with power action, if remove, then can use power action.

I'd question relying on that local source in the future :)

Resolve and Remove are two different game terms. They are not the same. You are correct in your turn/reroll analogy.

No he's the most experienced locally and like i said pretty knowledgeable. I was just 2nd guessing him on this one.

He'd be the first to say he's not always correct lol. No biggie
