A Mandalorian ship could work for every faction - they do in the lore - and that would be something everyone would happily jump on. Plus, it would be cool looking, cuz y'know, it's Mandalorian.
Is Epic 2.0 the next big announcement?

They wouldn't work for the Republic in the lore. After the
Mandalorian-Jedi War
, Mandalore was in ruins and they held a severe grudge again the Jedi and by relation the Republic and fought with the CIS during the Clone Wars. Well, Pre Vizsla/Death Watch that overthrew the Dutchess, that is. I guess you could say pre-overthrow Mandalorians could side with the Republic.
Nevermind, it could work

Yeah, they're pretty universal, with a long history of internal strife pitting one Mandalorian faction against another. Even the Empire uses Mandalorians, as depicted in Rebels. So, FFG designs one ship and has it come out for multiple factions, ah la the TIE fighter. They'd have different paint jobs and possibly even differences with the models and certainly different cards for each version, but it's a cost effective way to introduce a new Epic ship.

Hmmm. Kom'rk. 52.3m x 52.4m (small version) or 68m x 52.4m (large version)… Both sets of dimensions are in the lower end of the Epic scale... I think it (kicking myself for saying it, I'm sick of Mandos and, shoot Nute, this would just mean more of them.) fits...

Source please?
The only words from FFG regarding Epic that I am aware of are from the Q&A session during the Worlds announcement about 2.0, during which a player asked "What about Epic in 2.0?" and the FFG person responding to the question just sort of smiled, said they liked Epic, and vaguely hinted that they'd like to see it come back.
That's
hardly
an official statement that Epic would be back, and even if it were several other things FFG promised during the 2.0 fanfare turned out to be either outright false, a bit misleading, or yet to be delivered upon (e.g. how am I going to get the new upgrades from Wave 2 or Wave 3 without having to buy out of faction ships or repackaged releases of ships I already own from 1.0?)
Perhaps you're aware of an official announcement from a different source that I've missed. But if you're just basing this on the Q&A from the Worlds' announcement... well I won't hold my breath for Epic...
