I have recently been looking at those twin pistols Jenny has, and looking at the rules about the letter X. The rules say if X is undefined it is 0, so do the pistols cost 0 resources and have 0 ammunition? Thanks!

You may play the pistols with 0 ammo for zero resources, yes. For other card effects while this is in your hand, it is considered to cost 0 as well

You define X as you play the card, as part of paying the resource cost. Basically, you can spend any number of resources; each resource you spend gives 1 ammo to the Twin 45s.

Now, if you put the asset into play without paying its cost (eg through Sleight of Hand), then X would be undefined, and you'd start with no ammo. Likewise, X is only defined as you play the card; effect like Corrosion consider Jenny's Twin 45s to have a cost of 0, regardless of how much you payed to play them.
