Is she the only one who doesn’t have one now?

With the 2 in the promo rulebook from AH3e, yes. The 4 that were created for MoM3e (Agatha Crane, Carson Sinclair, Father Mateo, & Preston Fairmont) had stories in The Investigators of Arkham Horror.

Keep in mind that those 7 characters (including Sefina Rousseau, Daniela Reyes & Calvin Wright (notwithstanding his original promo version in AH2e)) have all been released since the middle of 2016. The fact that 6 of them have had stories is pretty impressive to me. I'm sure we'll get Sefina's (and newer investigators) in time.

If not before, then most likely when she is released for Arkham Horror 3e, I'd say

She is hands down my favorite investigator now, which is surprising seeing as how I've been playing Arkham Files since 2e. I was not expecting to take such a liking to a newer investigator. I think we will definitely get a story, but the question is how? Are we going to see a replacement Novella? Or is she going to be included as promo material for some other pre-order bonus content?

I was surprised to see stories included with 3rd ed, but as it was a launch of a new game, not overly surprised. I really don't know in terms of existing models, how they would provide a single short story for her though. Either it is going to be packaged with stories for investigators that are coming down the pipeline in the future, or we are going to see a replacement novella for her sooner rather than later.

Obviously just speculation. I can't see them including just a single short story in an instruction booklet for an expansion though. That seems odd, so I'm not sure where it will appear.

I hadn't thought about how that would work, for her or for Lola. Their signature cards are much more integrated into their play styles than most other investigators.

Would have to be replacement cards that interact with events under Sephina. Maybe one instead of three, but it can copy extraordinary events. Or it's instead a card that draws an event. Or a skill card that gives a bonus equal to the bonus granted by any two cards under sefina, combined. There's still a lot you could do there.

Exactly. Those ideas are very exciting. I hope she is one of the next replacement investigators. She's complicated for sure, but out of all of the investigators, she is the one that needs fleshed out the most (story-wise) as we have very little information on her. I would like to see something, perhaps, that gives her a significant bonus to her stats, heals damage/horror, or additional card draw when she uses an action to draw a card from under her.

That or even a signature that starts in play (permanent, sort of like Mark) that lets you choose/search your deck at the beginning of the game for the events that are placed beneath her, and her investigator action becomes fast or something. Or maybe something that allows you to put events from your discard pile underneath her during the game (therfore being able to cycle them back in and make them available to use multiple times).

Or such things.

Ooh, I didn't even think of using the cards under her as fuel for something else.

Remove an event under Sefina Rousseau: gain +2 on any skill for your next action.

That would basically just make the five events five free resources.
