Ion troopers, why the dislike on them.

Legion is an infantry game. Infantry objectives, infantry terrain.

This is the crux of the issue. The large vehicles are almost an afterthought, included because Star Wars "has" to have big vehicles. The anti-vehicle tools are therefore not going to be used much. My favorite thing to paint and collect is infantry so I'm fine with that but, I prefer games with more flexibility.

I agree, I'd love for the present vehicles to be better balanced. If they aren't intended to be balanced with the infantry, then they should have designed to be better all around. Removing the exhaust would have helped some of them be more usable.

AtSt could be sorta "fixed" if they gave it a Pierce weapon or upgrade since they won't change the cost of anything.

I won't be happy if they release an ADTP which serves the same role as the AtSt and just costs less.

Great point. From now on my snowtroopers and general Veers will take AT-RT's instead of an AT-ST.

Besides which AT-RTs aren’t even remotely as effective, suffering critical degradation after far fewer wounds, and possessing far less offensive output.

A fully kitted out AT-ST averages 5.5 wounds on your j average trooper unit, which for Rebels means it’ll on average excise a commando strike team all but a leader on a maximized corps unit.

Two AT-RTs might cross out two troopers in cover, maybe.

Given the cost of tooling up molds versus printing, they would be more likely to release a pilot card that "fixes" each underpowered vehicle enough to get them into the tournament scene. Thought I do want an AT-PT just because it's oh so weggish.

Then instead of selling you a whole new walker, they could use the pilot card as bait to sell something from the movies they were gonna have to tool up eventually anyhow. Like a Golan arms DF.9 or Luke's landspeeder or something.
