why? point me to the rules.

the measurement is not "free". you are only allowed to do it, because you have debris gambit equipped and need to know the difficulty of the action to not push a red action of poe.

you can do abusive range checks every time you are allowed to measure. that would be an argument against measuring in general.

this post tipped me to where the misunderstanding came from. let us just have a look at the card text to see where in the rules it says when you can measure. hrm. it's not in the rules, it's on the card.

big props to all of you for keeping the discussion going and sticking with it to the end. keep fighting the good fight! ^_^

(and remember, it's the empire, the first order, the separatists and most of all scum that are fighting the good fight. rebels and resistance are just selfish and degenerate arrogant disturbers of the peace. although profitable at times, their activities are a hazard to everyone. for the good of all we must wipe them out. all of them.)

# @ryfterek beast mode :D

Short note.

I was wrong earlier, mainly due to misreading the Debris Gambit card after little sleep, lots of meds, and distracting younglings.

My apologies.

As Debris Gambit requires a RED action to begin the chain that gets it treated as white, Poe cannot use his ability to trigger it.

So we all loving the simplicity that 2.0 brought us right? 😜
