I finally finished writing my blog article for my Epic/Cinematic Play asteroid base scenario, The Battle of the PAW Installation

By weisguy119, in X-Wing Epic Play

It’s a long read but I hope some of you enjoy reading about it as much as I enjoyed designing it! Just about anything you could want to know about the scenario is in the article - inspirations, custom cards and dials, galleries galore, sources for materials used, etc.

That base is very cool. I'm going to keep an eye out and see if they get more of those in stock!

That was really fun to read through. And you did a great job painting the asteroid base.

Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words!

First of all:

This.

Looks.

AWESOME!

Full respect for your huge amount of work.

May I have a question? How Exogorts work exactly? I'd love to put them on the battlefield during casual play with my friends.

First of all, thank you! A lot of work went into this.

Here’s the link to the cards I created for the Exogorths:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/13lcjQynXfkr3d5b0tQ71xKqSw4PhDfuU/view?usp=drivesdk

Basically, they attack any ship within range 1. The larger (adolescent) Exogorth strikes with 2 attack dice and the smaller (juvenile) Exogorth strikes with 1 attack die. If a ship lands on an asteroid containing an Exogorth, that ship rolls for asteroid damage AND Exogorth damage.

The larger one was purchased from Mel Miniatures on Shapeways and the smaller one from Combatzone Scenery. They don’t come painted. I painted them myself.

Freaking Sweet!

Thanks for the write up. I would love to run something like that.

Awesome, mesieu.

I NEED one Nebulon B Frigate...

I would love to see the ship list you created for this scenario. I would be interested to see what ships, pilots, upgrades that each ship had.
