The counter doesn't fit around the bottom of the stand. We were placing the arc indicator on the top of the Ghost. What is everyone else doing?

Using normal large ship pegs, personally. Curled Paw I think has acrylic tokens that fit around it though.

The tourney rules address this, they suggest placing a small base arc indicator on the base in the relevant quadrant.

And it's been strongly implied that whenever they reprint the ghost they'll fix the issue properly.
