I'm always so proud of my paint jobs until I see other people's paint jobs. They look amazing with clean lines. Jelous.

Thanks ive had many years of practice painting Bolt action and Flames of war. Ive seen far better then mine. The main thing is as long as your happy with your painting.

What colour are you using for the ties?

Base coat matte black then tamiya XF-24 dark grey then a wash with citadel nuln oil.

Your stations and asteroids look beautiful, but I’d be concerned about overlap issues. I’m sure that’s mostly my OCD talking, but Armada is fiddly enough when ships and squadrons start to overlap I think adding 3-D asteroids would take my frustration to another level.

Just set them on the FFG cardboard, and remove for overlaps. Best of both worlds there!

That's exactly what I do just remove when a ship is close.

What did you use for the asteroids?

A high density blue foam. Not sure what its called.
