dial tokens - ooops

By Wiredin, in X-Wing

Message me with your list and I'll see what I can find. I will not be upgrading to plastic dials, so my ship ID tokens just sit in my case.

It’s converting your collection, should have the bombs already and the other ships came with ID tokens in their 1.0 packaging.

Sure but we really need a 2.0 source for bombs at this point.

Apparently this is "illegal" but I really doubt you'd get called for it. But one thing I've seen others do, and have considered doing myself is just taking the ID number of the ship and cutting it down to fit in that spot. That way you have a "1" on the dial, "1" on your ship, and a third "1" on your card. That is one way to keep dials straight. I run a lot of generic same ship lists and this would actually be handy if they are clumped together. Sometimes dials get moved around when you are sliding ships out of the way and marking them.

Except I used my 3D printer to make some numbered tokens that fit into the dials neatly. They’re basically done, I just need to paint the numbers so that they stand out a bit more (I’m also color-coordinating each number because I’m obsessive awesome like that).

And @viedit why exactly would that be illegal?

This would be a good idea. Seems like it would be fairly easy for them to sell them in a pack. Maybe 4 of each. A punch out sheet or two in a pack or for a little more plastic ones using the same material the bases are made of (although that would entail creating the molds so while they would be nicer, the punch outs would be more economical.

Maybe a pack of punch out tokens for charges and force but they are not in as great need.

Oh, trust me, I have tried Googling that. My Google-Fu is weak. Everything I get is a blurry image at best.
