is anyone else impressed by this?

the damage savings seems to come up at least once a game! if your opponent has a small/med engine techs rammer then its golden bears!

It's awesome as long as you don't face several big ships. It would have been even better back when Rieekan Rammers were a thing, but whenever I build a dual ISD list at least one of them has this upgrade.

It's actually a pretty good card. I rarely regret taking it.

At the end of the day, however, it's 5 points better spent elsewhere.

Typically the bid. Or another upgrade. Or a better ace 😀

But the existence of the card is a good thing. It's there to limit ramming if it becomes a thing. Well, more of a thing.

And even then it protects just that one ship. The rest of your fleet can be rammed.

Best spot for it: command cruiser?

typically I only really care about that one ship... if you ram something and get rammed twice we're talking RBD territory

I’ve taken it to good effect on any non-Boarding Team aggressive Kuat.

The damage dealt/saved by being blasé about rams can make a big difference.
