In my experience a "upick" is a field where you pick your own fruit and vegetables.

Therefore, I believe Pod wants us to be a rag tag group of adventurers, roaming the galactic UPicks during December, hoping to gather enough blueberries to go in our blue milk shakes.

(And I've been away for a while, but I don't believe you had a vendetta against me.)
