4LOM(crew) v. Static Discharge Vanes

By BoskiChe, in X-Wing Rules Questions

How does Static Discharge Vanes interact with 4LOM crew?

Static Discharge Vanes ΓΆΒΆ4-LOM

Errata (since rules reference 1.0.2): Changed from "If you would gain an ion or jam token, if you are not stressed, you may choose a ship at range 0-1. If you do, gain 1 stress token and transfer 1 ion or jam token to that ship." - Static Discharge Vanes

I would say that in a scenario when I use 4LOM on a ship within 0-1 I can gain 1 stress and transfer one of my two Ion tokens to the defender. So in result I would receive 1 Stress and 1 Ion token and defender receives 1 1 Ion token. Am I right? I'm asking becuse I've seen an interpretation taht since 4LOM produces 2 Ion tokens this does not satisfy Static Discharge Vanes requirement... For me it is a big strech as receiving 2 tokens fullfill requirement of receiving 1.

You would be correct. Each token is a separate opportunity to trigger the vanes. So if you had some way to lose the stress (nien nunb pilot is the only one I know) you could use it on each in succession.

Interesting. Another way for Dance Bonearm to trigger his ability, just without the damage from Feedback Array.
