I am starting to think Arc Dodgers may be the most skill less type of game. Because they tear up any list that isn't designed to counter them, and instead of coming up with a counter they just cry on R-wing and F-wing how unfair the game is.
In your opinion; Which Pilots & Upgrades require no skill and are against the spirit/original design intent of the game?

What's R-Wing and F-Wing?

Mostly because they don’t feel good without it. They are a 2/2 stat line ship, but too expensive to swarm with.
If I could pay an extra 4 points for Punishing One, for it to add the same 3-die primary instead of what it currently does, I would in a heartbeat.

For generic jousters, it's got nothing to do with losing the action and everything to do with losing the ability to flip-around for at least two rounds.
What I don't understand about Sloane is that the designers said that unavoidable double-stress mechanics of 1.0 were NPE and they were eliminating it from 2.0 (e.g. no more stress-bot), while also removing lots of other stress-dealing mechanics (e.g. Rebel Captive, Mara Jade, etc.). Yet then they go and make Sloane... 🙄

This is no less true now than it was in 1.0
A lot of us never understood the "turrets are no skill!" and "ace-dodgers are the ultimate finesse skill!" mentalities that were so commonly tossed out as groupthink drivel during 1.0. Being about to move after your opponent's ships and then move again after you move with reposition(s) while also sporting some defensive buffs just in case you actually still end up with an enemy shot on you has always been a supreme advantage in this game that all but the most noobtastic of players should be able to exploit.

Yeah, I like the idea of Sloane but it should have only been a single stress.

That and/or the Sloane carrier had to be range three of the defender (instead of attacker) to at least make it so that you had to engage the Sloane carrier and hang it out there a bit more.

Is this a case of /sarc not carrying through text?
Captain Sloan: "After another friendly ship at range 0-3 defends, if it is destroyed, the attacker gains 2 stress tokens. While a friendly ship at range 0-3 performs an attack against a stressed ship, it may reroll 1 attack die."

Sorry was a bit confusing of wording on my part. But under current wording, Sloane carrier can effectively be range 6 from an enemy ship. Whether that ship is the attacker or defender, they can be half the board away from Sloane.
I'm surprised Collision Detector hasn't been brought up, especially considering how much hate Dash gets on these forums.
Let's take Dash's ability and give it to Whisper as an upgrade, that sounds like a good idea. Makes flying a Phantom real skill-testing.

I think arc-dodgers are good, but fair, because you can block them. Pre-move repositioning, though, is easy mode. I would much prefer if all pre-move repositioning occurred in the system phase, like decloaking. It would still be powerful and unpredictable, but it would require the repositioning player to actually think hard and make difficult decisions, instead of just putting kylo wherever they want him.

They didn't remove Mara Jade, they renamed her Captain Phasma and gave her to the First Order.

You mean on the table? No, I have never seen either. They could be unicorns for all I know at this point.
