"After you lose 1 shield, gain 1 evade token"

The trigger isn't "lose at least 1 shield", and it's not an action - so do I only get an evade if I lose exactly one shield, or do I receive multiple evade tokens if I lose multiple shields?

The latter I believe. It's not once per round/charge based and each token is a distinct opportunity.

My first thought was that it would be - I figured if it wasn't, the phrase "exactly 1 shield" would have popped up, but I thought it was worth asking.

" After you lose 1 shield, gain 1 evade token." card text

"When a ship suffers damage, that damage is suffered one at a
time. For each damage a ship suffers, it loses a shield by flipping the shield
to its inactive side." - page 8 of the rules refrence

well... that is cute.

get hit by a nasty shot and loose 3 shields in that one hit, then gain 3 evades.

He is pretty much alpha strike proof. (basically +3 hit points against an alpha strike list)

I think I hear a clarification being typed out.

Why?

It's crystal clear.

To me at least, reading the rules is like reading the fine print on an insurance policy.
