I thought they did a Skarif mission... now I'm not sure...

Not yet. I'm still looking for a sheet of thin, light blue, clear plastic sheeting that I can use as the shield in the center.

Then the debate begins on if I can make interchangeable inserts for open and closed, or if it needs to be a permanent part of the model.

1) Close Shield Aperature - wrap in blue Saran Wrap.

2) Open Shield Aperature - unwrap.

Boom! I just saved you dozens of hours and dollars.

In all seriousness I’m getting a friend to build and paint one for me, but I think I’ll stop short of a working Aperature, as cool as that would be. I hope you pull it off.

I bought the Scarif shield gate. I need to clean it and paint it still.

To be honest I need to stop buying new ships and start painting instead. LOL
