About Curative Spirit , Serena plot deck

By jotade88, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

I was reading this awsome post (thanks to the usefull links post) to know how to use my brand new plot deck, Serenas's silent protector.

Then read this (in Bold what catch my atencion):

Quote

Curative Spirit (2) star_yellow.gif star_yellow.gif star_yellow.gif star_white.gif star_white.gif This effect can be welcome if you´re watching your Changelings (for instance) go down and want to heal them before the next hero attack sequence. Everything is about the number of actions required by the heroes to take down your monsters, so they don’t spend these actions doing other things, so healing a group at that rate (two monsters get two health back for each attack after all, so assuming your 4 attacks connect , that’s a full regen) can be a big deal. 3/5

The cards says:

Quote
Exhaust this card at the start of your turn. While this card is exhausted each master monster with the Civilized monster trait gains:

Action : Perform an attack. If this attack deals at least 1 Heart (after the defense roll), this monster and 1 monster within 3 spaces of this moster each recover 2 Heart .

So..... this is asuming you have 4 civilizaed groups? or..... asuming you have two groups and you CAN ATTACK TWICE with the master??? or maybe the author missread the card and forgot the Master monster requeriment?

Anyway. I know the "monster can olny make 1 attack" restriction. But the card give them an acction that allows it to attack. This can bypass the rule? Because if it is true, the card... is crazy good if you manage to have 2 master monster ready to attack and big monster ready to be healed? ´

Thanks in advance :)

This ability does not offer to attack more than once per turn with a hero.

It is not an adtionnal attack (like frenzy, for example), or Rylan activation

The Giants cannot attack twice using Sweep too. If an ability offer to perform an attack, it counts as the attack of the monster.

I'm pretty sure what Indalecio meant by "4 attacks" in this case was the 1 attack from each of the 4 members of the Changeling monster group affected by Curative Spirit (assuming a traditional 4 player game)

Whoops, missed the "Master" monster part. No idea what was meant by 4 attacks then :3

It's likely that @Indalecio also missed the 'Master' monster part.

Thanks for the answers!

Now...ohhhh I'm a bit ounderwelmed for instance the silent protector deck was amazing. But is Ok. if you manage to have a pair of compatible masters can be worth the fortune.
