That's really cool how Finn goes really well with Rey and now Rose.
Like they arenn't my favorite characters but i love the theme. Finn does something that at first seems useless, but Rey and Rose both help Finn accomplish something that matters, just like in the films.

I agree. Thematically FFG got this right with the ability for Rey, Finn and Rose to proc off each other. Expensively but effectively.

86% if you add Heroic....is 1 pt (.5% of the overall 200 pt list) worth a 5% increase? Not even including the blank out green insurance (albeit very rare). Crack shot definitely comes first, but then it's Heroic or Trick Shot for 2nd ept.

If I could make them work I'd argue for trickshot (especially with the rear arc!), but personally heroic seems better for me. So yes, I do agree with you.
On a side note: is Wedge/Outmaneuver a good counter to defensive heroic because it removes the second die? Probably not too much worth it, but I expect every T70 and then some to have heroic stapled.

Assuming that the focus is still there. I highly agree with the set-up, as that combo looks pretty dank, but those who see numbers and probabilities on the board are going to try to pop that focus off. So best to use that threat to give your other ships a better opening to hit hard.

That's why you have 5 of them
Can't pull all of them and there's a chance the 3 dice defense just saves you anyway. That's also why I'm keeping in mind that this is mainly for hyperspace as in extended we have to deal with Palob and Vader crew.
EDITED: Or use one of the i5 RZ2s as a flanker and have a bigger target that the opponent has to deal with. That consistent 2 dice on the flank may not be enough to turn a list against to kill, but it will plink a lot.

This is one of the reasons I love Vassal. Test before invest. The more I think about it and probably the more I test them, the more likely I am to pull that $100 trigger though 😕

One of my first lists I slapped together is an attempt to recreate my GenCon squad of Poe and 3 rookies. Poe and 3 A-Wings fits with a lot of flex for tweaks.

Poe seems so....naked.
The way the Falcon is easiest to fly is around the edge of the board controlling range, with the arc out the side. I'm going to try Rey without Finn and maybe with Engine Upgrade. With that you can afford Poe and L'ulo.
I've flown a lot more Han though so I don't have much experience of keeping people in the front arc.
I have:

Poe - R4, S-foils, Black One (72)
L'ulo - Heroic (39)
Everything is super lean, but that's the way of 2.0!
Also no bid for Rey or Poe to go after people, but I can't see how you can get that with a 3-ship list. And no torpedoes.

My hot take on Rey.....
It's like chugging a bottle of whiskey in a couple minutes. It seemed like a good idea at the time. There's a short lived feeling of invulnerability, you'll fight anything that looks at you. Then it all hits at once and you hope you don't die.

1. Pilot/or Gunner with Han
2. If Pilot with just Poe Dameron (both fully loaded for optimal firepower)
or
2a. If Pilot with Poe and an A-WING with both Poe and her slim and trim to allow whichever A-WING I5 the best upgrades possible.

They're good, rear arc is huge and RZ-1s are already borderline solid, making them cheaper with better slots, initiative, and pilot abilities makes them great

Yeah quite possibly, you’d have to go a cheaper A-Wing maybe. Or drop Engine upgrade. Han with Rey is 1 more point than Rey with Engine.
I have a 2-ship list with Han/Poe where you can pack on the upgrades and take a bid.
L’ulo was the star for me tonight, she takes very few shots when Rey and Poe are around.
The lack of a bid makes Poe a bit more difficult to fly. I like the list for now though because it lets me practice with the 3 main resistance ships.
