Not sure this is the right place to post this but I've search around the forum to see if some has address this but couldn't find any post.

There are multiple ships that in Quick Build Empire pdf show upgrades for slots the ship doesn't have, right from the beginning:

This ship doesn't have 2 modifications slots

or or This ships doesn't have a talent or modification slot respectively

Is this done on purposes? I feel this can confuse new players

Yup, this is done intentionally. Quick build is a loose format where fun and theme are the priority. Take a look at the rebel list and check out Chewbacca and Heff Tober!
