Thats a lot of work and cost to give two primary dice non-ordnance ships a lock on one ship. Not worth it.

And baffle is probably the worst thing you could do to a 3 hull ship.

Yeah that just seems vaguely bad...

Soontir doesn't need a lock anyway if you use him right (LW is okay but Predator is where its at), and EB is just suicidal.

SD will disappear on Whis REAL fast, and guaranteed 1 reroll vs one target seems much less worth it than getting a 3rd, independently capable ship

Funny I thought the same thing about baffle when i read this. Now I just got done with a game vs soontir with baffle and afterburners lol. He nearly solo'd my whole squad with good dice! Baffle was actually relevant one time since I was running sloane. Buuut he died to my last tie by 1 damage. God I love jank. But no don't baffle squints.
