More accurately, the announcement of 2.0 with dynamic ship/upgrade pricing.

A toss up between watching a Fenn Rau Fang pop to a Baffle/Deadman's Z-95 after chipping him down or one of my tractor Scyks tossing Guri into Serissu's bullseye for a HLC kill shot. The announcing of the Seps is a close third.

Runner up moment was Brobots winning that last worlds tournament. Take that TLT...

I was pretty stoked to see 2 bombers and 2 punishers win a major tournament this last weekend

seeing Boba Fett jacket up in 2.0. Enemies now have reason to fear him. Han Solo crew is probably going to take a kick to the nuts when points are rebalanced (or perhaps marauder title) but its been fun to see firesprays on the table again

For me, it was going to GenCon and meeting so many of my online X-Wing friends in real life!

2.0 release

Before this I would not touch the game.

Personally, it's probably when I blocked Dengar two turns in a row over a rock. I've played against Dengar exactly twice in my young X-wing career, and managed to pull this exact thing off in both games (the first time was in 1.0, playing Luke for the first time with his shiny new S-foils, and he closed them / 2 banked to clear stress / boosted in for the block. It was glorious).

But also, in a world full of Ghosts and TLTs and Nym/Mirandas, watching Brobots come out of nowhere to win worlds.

Probably outmaneuvering and killing Dutch and Airen with a single I1 Striker. Boxing in Whisper between a rock, a Lambda and a v1 ranks pretty highly too. Dodge this!

Having Teroch und Fenn in r1 of whisper. Teroch removed all the tokens. Fenn rolled 5 hits. Whisper blanked out. I had a nice day!

SO many great X-wing moments: release of 2.0 as a whole was excellent. Announcement of Clone Wars stuff was another great moment. Getting all of my 2.0 stuff at my FLGS for 20% off was also great - I love supporting my local businesses and these guys really take care of their customers so they make it easy. My favorite in-game moment was flying double Defenders with Advanced Sensors and having my opponent going, "Wait, what?" as I danced around his ships, annihilating everything. I'd told him three times that they were equipped that way, but he didn't realize how insane it would be on them.

So, yeah, a few great moments this year.

It's not a single moment, but all of the people I've met over the past year since I started playing competitively and, especially, the fantastic community we've built locally. ARCH ON TOP!

If I had to pick a single moment, it would be Simeon winning Worlds (particuarly with BroBots) and the unbridled joy and pride Rasta showed when it happened.

I do a little dance on their grave every week. I didn't mind Fat Han, I tolerated pre-nerf Whisper and shrugged at Paratanni, but I absolutely hated Nymranda. That list almost sourced me on the game completely (until I realized that they struggled with token stacking FOs, that is).

my Redline face to face with Chris Allen's Redline, but I had 1st player, so he had the target lock. His redline did 1 damage with the top, and mine did 1 damage with a primary, only to have my other skips kill his Redline with munitions. Redline proton torps should do more damage than a primary... Sorry Chris.
